PRAYER BEFORE SCHOOL

Thank you God for another day with friends. Help me to do my best in the work I do, the games I play and the way I am with everyone here at our school. May I always remember that you live in me and in others too. I will try to share your love and grow with you today. Thank you God, for giving me a mind that can know and a heart that can love. Help me to stay focused on my studies, and encourage me when learning is difficult that I may grasp the truth that is held out before me. Grant me the grace to put my knowledge to use in building the kingdom of God on earth that I may find the courage to follow you. Amen Heavenly Father, Grant me each day the desire to do my best, to grow mentally and morally as well as physically; to be kind and helpful to my classmates and teachers. To be honest with myself as well as with others Help me to be a good sport and smile when I lose as well as when I win Teach me the value of true friendship. Help me always to conduct myself so as to bring credit to my school. Amen. Lord, we ask you for peace, wisdom and strength. Help me to accept the things which I have to do. Help me to be patient and understanding. Encourage me when my mind seems slow and the way ahead is difficult. May your blessings descent upon all of us. Lord, help me to enter the school with open mind and heart. Let me be eager to learn and understand and that is taught here. Direct my energy to honour truth in work and play. Lord, guide us, protect us and keep us healthy. Father of light and wisdom, thank you for giving me a mind that can know and a heart that can love. Help me to keep learning, everyday of my life. No matter what the subject may be. Let me be convinced that all knowledge leads to you. Let me know how to find you and love you in all the things you have made. Thank you for our school. We pray if would be a safe place of learning, fun and friendship. Please watch over all our teachers and students. Help us to explore and learn new things. Guide us by your eternal light as we think right and do good deeds. Teach me to respect and love.

PRAYER AFTER SCHOOL

Almighty Father, we pray that you will watch over us as we depart from the class. We beseech your guidance and protection as we set for home, watch over us and keep us always in your loving care. We give you thanks, Almighty God for all the graces you have given us, throughout the day. May your love and grace continue to guide us as we set on our journey for home today. O God, the source of all knowledge, help us to remember what we have learnt today. We offer you all our work, troubles, success and failures, forgive us our short comings and enlighten our minds always to follow the path of truth. Amen. God our Father, we thank you for bringing us safely to the end of this day. Bless our teachers, friends and all those whom we met today. Help us to remember the good things we have learnt. Be with us till we get back home. Thank you Lord for the fun times, the laughter and the play. Thank you for the meal times, the writing and the drawing. For each and every child that’s here, all the learning and the growing. Hold us by your loving hands and take us safely home today.
