St. Augustine’s Primary School*
The Investiture Ceremony of St. Augustine’s Primary School was celebrated with great pride and solemnity on the 25th of July, 2025. It was a landmark day in the academic calendar, setting the tone for a year of dedicated leadership and service.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Br. Vinay Kedia, Manager Br. Ronald Vaz, Br. Anish John, the Co‑ordinator Mrs. Racquel Dias, along with the proud parents of the Head Boy and Head Girl. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Br. Ronald, creating a serene and reverent atmosphere.
The newly elected student leaders marched to the stage with confidence and were formally introduced to the gathering. Principal Br. Vinay then clearly outlined their roles and responsibilities, after which Br. Anish blessed the badges.
During the Presentation Ceremony, the leaders were invested with their badges and sashes by their parents and teachers, symbolizing trust and responsibility. In the Flag Ceremony that followed, the school flags were presented to the Captains by Principal Br. Vinay. The Oath‑Taking Ceremony then imbued the proceedings with a spirit of commitment and integrity.
Principal Br. Vinay addressed the assembly with inspiring words, encouraging the student leaders to uphold the school’s values and serve with humility and dedication. Co‑ordinator Mrs. Racquel Dias concluded the event with a message of gratitude and a reaffirmation of the school’s theme for the year—Rooted in Values, Reaching for Excellence.
A special acknowledgment was offered to Sir Rostan & the teachers for their tireless efforts in training the student leaders. The active involvement of parents and the enthusiasm of the students added vibrancy and warmth to the occasion, making it truly memorable.
The ceremony ended on a note of pride, blessings, and hope, as the school looked forward to a year of responsible leadership and collective growth.
