Description: “Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge.” ― Simon Sinek The Investiture Ceremony was held on 18th July 2025. This important occasion marked the official induction of the newly elected School Council and House Leaders for the academic year 2025–26. The ceremony began with a warm welcome and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the light of wisdom and the dawn of new leadership. A reflective prayer led by the teachers sought divine blessings upon the student leaders. The newly appointed council responded to the confident command of School Captain Master Lance Pereira by marching forward with pride and precision, heads held high and purpose in every step. After the march, Br. Anish John blessed the badges, invoking strength, wisdom, and compassion on each leader. Heartfelt moments unfolded as parents proudly pinned badges on their children, a gesture of deep trust and belief. Alongside them, teachers placed the sashes—sealing a powerful bond of guidance and responsibility. The House Flags were then presented to the House Captains by the Principal, Br. Vinay Kedia, in a moment that captured the essence of honour, unity, and school spirit. Each House Captain then stepped forward to share what their house stands for, weaving spirit and identity into their words. Jaden Cusher, Captain of Keane House (Red), spoke with pride about how Keane house symbolises excellence and courage, living by the motto “Do all things well” and echoing the powerful cheer, “Don’t be mean, cheer for Keane!” Representing Whiting House (Yellow), Shravan Vipul highlighted their values of determination and energy, upheld through the motto “Dare to be” and the spirited cheer, “Come on Whiting, keep on fighting!” Sean Furtado, Captain of Murphy House (Green), described Murphy house as one of growth, hope, and wisdom, driven by the cheer “Raise your voices higher, Murphy is on fire!” and the inspiring motto, “Let your light shine!” Finally, Aariz Shaikh, Captain of Gomes House (Blue), proudly shared how Gomes house embodies vision, loyalty, and dreams, motivated by the motto “Dare to dream!” and chanting with confidence, “East or west, Gomes is the best!” . Representing the voice of the entire council, Master Lance Pereira, the School Captain, addressed the gathering with sincere words of gratitude, promising to serve with humility, fairness, and integrity. In an inspiring address our Principal, Br. Vinay Kedia, reminded the young leaders that true leadership is built on empathy, accountability, and leading by example. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the School Anthem, uniting every heart in a shared sense of pride and purpose. The Investiture Ceremony organised by the class teachers of standard 9, was a celebration of leadership in its truest form—one that inspired every student to rise, lead, and serve.
