Elocution competition
The elocution competition was held on 21st August 2025 at St.Augustine's high school, where students from classes 5 to 8 showcased their public speaking skills and creativity on socially relevant topics and topics based on values.
The event was hosted by Ms.Sweedle Dsa and Ms.Geetha Iyer for classes 5 and 6. For classes 7 and 8, the event was hosted by Ms.Stephy Gonsalves and Ms. Shirley Thomas.
A total of 48 students participated in the competition and demonstrated their ability to articulate their thoughts, convey their message, and engage the audience.
The panel of judges included Ms. Lourdes D'silva , a retired educator from our institution, Mr. Xavier Anthony, currently teaching at St. Xavier's high school and Br.Ronald Vaz, a teacher from our school.
The participants were judged on content delivery,language,expression, and overall impact.
The judges were impressed by the participants' efforts.
