β¨Voices of the Future: Students Pen Their Thoughts β¨
St. Augustine's High School organized an Essay Writing Competition for the students of classes IX and X on the 21st August, 2025. The competition was compulsory for all students, ensuring that every child gets an opportunity to participate and showcase their writing talent. The main objective of the competition was to encourage creative thinking, polish writing skills, and develop the ability to express ideas in a clear and structured manner.
In preparation, students were asked to study the following topics:
1. Making a Difference Through Selfless Service
2. Education as a Tool for Empowerment
3. Service Before Self: The Legacy of Edmund Rice
On the day of the competition, students were given one topic from the above list and they had to write the essay within the allotted time. This tested not only their knowledge and preparation but also their ability to think critically and present their ideas effectively.
All students participated with great enthusiasm. Their essays reflected clarity of thought and a deep understanding of the given themes.
After a careful and thorough evaluation, three winners were selected from each class. The results are as follows:

The competition was a resounding success. It not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their writing skills but also motivated all participants to cultivate a love for reading, writing, and self-expression.
