"Let your brush speak the words of poetry!"

The Edmund Rice Week began with the Paint a Poem competition for the students of classes 5 to 7 which was conducted on the 18th August, 2025. Instructions were given three days prior to the competition. The students were given poems in advance to prepare for the same. The selected poems were displayed in each class from periods 2 to 4 and students were given time to express their thoughts from the words of poetry with the help of colours/brushes on their drawing paper. 

The teachers incharge of the competition were:

Class 5 : Mrs. Rena Tuscano 

Class 6: Mrs. Venessa Rodrigues 

Class 7: Mrs. Neyomie D'silva 

The judges for the competition were : Mrs. Sweedle Colaco, Mrs. Ginny Dmello, Mrs. Venecia Naik 

The students did a fantastic job in painting the poems. They brought the poems in life by their artistic talents.
