A Celebration of Excellence at St. Augustine's Primary School
On the 22nd of August 2024, St. Augustine's Primary School transformed into a stage of pride and joy as the prize distribution ceremony unfolded in front of the primary school building. Under the guidance of Ms. Supriya Andrades and Ms. Rimple D'costa, the event was a grand celebration of the students’ hard work and dedication.
The ceremony began with the recognition of academic excellence, as students from Classes 1 to 4, who secured the first and second positions in the previous academic year (2023-2024), were honoured. These young achievers were awarded certificates for their outstanding performance, presented by our esteemed Principal, Brother Vinay. His address to the students was filled with words of encouragement and wisdom, inspiring them to continue striving for greatness.
Following this, Ms. Supriya led the second segment of the ceremony, distributing medals and certificates to the champions of indoor games, including carrom, chess, and table tennis.The joy on the students' faces was visible as they received their well-deserved awards, a testament to their talent and dedication.This indoor games competition, held in the month of July, was organized for students of classes 2 to 4 under the expert guidance of Sir Dickson.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the primary coordinator, Mrs. Racquel Dias, marking the end of a day filled with celebration, achievement, and inspiration. The event not only recognized the accomplishments of the students but also lit a flame of motivation within them, promising even greater successes in the future.
