Skit and Street Play Competition
Venue: School Hall
Date: 2nd September 2024
On the 2nd of September 2024, our school hall came alive with the vibrant energy and creativity of students from Classes 8, 9, and 10 as they participated in a much-anticipated Skit and Street Play competition. This annual event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their acting talents, teamwork, and ability to convey powerful messages through drama.
Organizers and Judges
The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of dedicated teachers:
• Class 8: Ms. Jessie Fernando and Ms. Mishel Carvalho
• Class 9: Ms. Joanna Almeida and Ms. Rena Tuscano
• Class 10: Ms. Candita Machado and Sir Lester Fernandes
Our esteemed judges, Ms. Joyce Pinto, Ms. Sweety Rebello, and Dr. Allan Rodrigues, applied their vast experience and keen insight to ensure fair and accurate judging of each performance.
? Class 8B won with their skit on "Honesty is the Best Policy," and Master Shank Patel received the Best Actor Award for his outstanding performance.
? In Class 9, 9C took the top prize with "Echoes of Thirst," a skit on environmental concerns. Master Masanam Sivanperumal was awarded Best Actor for his excellent narration and impactful delivery.
? The competition reached its climax with the street play performances by Class 10 students. Class 10A captivated everyone with their powerful street play titled "Mala Mazza Bharat Desh Vikayacha Aahe," earning them the first place.
The event was a seamless success, thanks to the smooth coordination between the students and teachers.The event not only provided an opportunity for students to showcase their acting skills but also encouraged them to think critically about important social and moral issues.

A special thanks to Br. Ronald Vaz for his efforts in arranging the hanging microphones.
Thanks to Dhairya Khatwani and Vedhant Jadhav for managing the curtains, and Aariz Shaikh for keeping track of time. Their contributions were crucial to the smooth running of the event. Thanks to the 4th-grade staff for arranging the stage and microphone system, which greatly supported the skit performances.
The competition was a great success, highlighting the creativity and dedication of our students.
