Description:
The holy Eucharist was celebrated at St. Augustine's School on the 28th August by Fr. Bernard on the occasion of St. Augustine's feast. All catholic students and teachers came together to celebrate this mass. It was offered for the intentions of the healthy growth of the school, students, teaching and non teaching staff and a special prayer for the Christian Brothers.
During the homily Fr. Bernard focused on the life of St. Augustine, symbol of compassion and love. Fr. Bernard gave the students a valuable take away message that they can learn a lot from the life of St. Augustine. His early life was marked by indulgence and moral struggles, but he didn’t let his past define him. Augustine placed his trust in God’s plan, even when he faced uncertainties. His life story serves as a powerful reminder that growth, both personal and spiritual, is a continuous journey, and that with dedication and faith, one can overcome any challenge and live a life of purpose and compassion. Example encourages us to trust in divine providence and to find strength in our faith, knowing that we are never alone in our journey. The Holy Eucharist celebration ended with a thank you note addressed by Mrs. Ranjeeta Gomes, who conveyed her wishes of gratitude to all those who made it possible to organize the mass and all the faithful who participated in the celebration of the mass.
